One part puzzle game, one part platformer, the story manages to stay engaging throughout, even when the time manipulation mechanics frustrate. The game is, however, surprisingly short; I finished it a little under 3 hours. Still, it's a title worth picking up if you like the genre. Perhaps not for $10, but your mileage may vary.. A cute little platform puzzle game with a neat time manipulation mechanic, which allows you to switch between past and future, as well as freeze time. You play as two interchangeable characters, a wizard and a snail and the puzzles are mostly well done and fun, although a couple did stretch the game’s internal logic a bit, and were hard to figure out. It’s an entertaining and enjoyable game, though pretty short. It took me around 4 hours to complete.I do have two gripes, though. Firstly, it lacks a save game feature, so if you have to quit the game for any reason (for example, as a result of the several progress breaking bugs I encountered) you have to restart the level, and secondly, it lacks a couch co-op option. With 2 characters at play, it really felt like this was missing.If you like the time manipulation bit, I recommend that you give the game ''Seasons After Fall'' a go. It’s got a similar mechanic and is an excellent game.. DISCLAIMER - Got this as part of a massive bundle so effectively did not pay full price Nice little puzzle platformer which may be a little too much on the short side - only took me 2 hours to complete it.It had fun little mechanics, and a good mix of puzzling and platforming.The story is very simple. It wasn't terrible, just don't expect Shakespeare or anything. The characters are fine, though a little two dimensional (pun intended). I do think the inventor you play as cripples a guy for life in the name of progressing to the next level though soo...Anyway all in all it's a nice way to spend two hours. Possibly longer or shorter depending on your puzzle-platforming ability. I would recommend it because of that, but wait for a sale to buy it.. Chronology is a game that I recommend because:- is a method to banish boredom- is a adventure game- have trading cards- is indieEnjoy!. Fun short puzzle adventure. A handful of the puzzles were frustrating but for the most part I enjoyed it. There is no combat, just a series of puzzles to progress through the story and map.. While a solid attempt, the game falls short of pretty much all accounts except one:- Super short, ~90min to play through everything- Time mechanic interesting but fairly repetative- The game is designed for 7-10 year olds. While I don't take that as a negative please note that. I enjoyed Rayman a lot which may have similar auidence I found this too childish.- The puzzles are not always very logical especially given the target auidence, platforming is straightforward and linear- Graphics are very good and animation is what you would expect for an artsy game- Story is decent for the short time game has to offerIf you are looking for a game for your kid then this might be a good choice. Alternatively, get it on severe discount. Otherwise, move along.. really enjoyed this game. beautifully designed levels. not to difficult or long for a puzzle game but still very enjoyable to play and well priced.. A little platforming mixed with puzzles in the fashion of old point'n'click adventures, to the point of getting stuck. Really short but really nice; i hope they add more levels, because it felt like a prototype for a full blown game. Good, fun and zero violence. 7/10. This is a very nice fun small game! I beated this game in a short amount of time but even so with that this game was just wonderful! I highly recommend this game if you just want to sit down and play a nice little game! Easy controls and one or two hard puzzles but other then that is a very good game.
